I have over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families coping with diverse interpersonal, emotional and behavioural challenges. My previous work experience has occurred in both group care and community counselling settings. I have provided individual, group and family counselling to children and adolescents who were dealing with various concerns including experiencing complex trauma, attachment disruption, loss, and other mental health difficulties. Additionally, I have experience with adults and families coping with depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, relational difficulties, personal and/or work stress as well as other interpersonal and mental health struggles. I have provided psychological services for various Employee and Family Assistance Programs as well as to community self-referrals. In addition to private practice, I am currently teaching graduate level courses in counselling and assessment in the Master of Educational Psychology program at the University of Regina and in the Yorkville University online Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) Program. I am a Registered Doctoral Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists (SKCP) and have a dual membership with the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and Psychological Association of Saskatchewan (PAS). I am also an approved First Nation and Inuit Mental Health Therapist and can provide services through the Health Canada NIHB (non-insured health benefit) program.
